(ANS – Turin) – The photo was taken in 1948 at the end of the Summer activities called “Estate dei Ragazzi”, in the Mother House of Turin, in the main playground of Valdocco. In the picture it is worth noting the great number of young people assisted by the presence of Salesians, on one side, and by the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, on the other.
(ANS – Rome) – Fr. Giovanni D’Andrea, SDB, is the President of the “SCS-CNOS Federation - Salesians for Civil Society”, the civil institution that expresses the charismatic dimension of Salesians to take care of young people at risk in Italy. We asked him a few questions.
