India - Salesian Family Day celebrated with joy and hope in the Delhi region

New Delhi, India - January 2025 - Salesian Family Day was celebrated on 25 January with great enthusiasm and fervour in the Delhi region. The Strenna for this year ‘Anchored in hope, pilgrims with tyoung people’ was presented by Fr Binit Dangwar, SDB. The celebration was marked by a special Mass, celebrated by the new priests of the INN Province, presided over by Fr Satish Kumar Ekka. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, clergy and members of the Salesian Family from the region. Another significant moment during the celebration was the greeting and good luck wishes to Salesian Brother Mathew John, who has chosen to serve as a missionary in Papua New Guinea. The celebration of Salesian Family Day was a testimony to the vibrant faith and community spirit of the region.
