On Saturday, 13 April  2024, Fr Flaviano D'Ercoli, Rrector of the Gerini Salesian House, Rome, will interview Dr. Anna Sansoni, Salesian Cooperator from the Salesian oratory in Siena. The theme of the meeting will be: "The presence of women in communities: Mamma Margaret today".

(ANS – Rome) – Today the term “development” is widely used, but often from a philanthropic or ideological perspective. That is why it is important to talk about integral sustainable development from a Catholic perspective. Doing so, on the monthly anniversary of the Salesian Missionary Expedition, is General Councillor for Missions Fr Alfred Maravilla.

(ANS – Rome) – In an inspiring display of collaboration and shared vision, the Salesian congregation's Youth Ministry and Missions sectors have united to foster a robust and dynamic Salesian Missionary Volunteering. This groundbreaking initiative traces its origins to the innovative proposal by three dedicated lay individuals who envisioned a unified effort at the congregational level to promote the spirit of Salesian missionary work.

SPECIAL REPORTS

  • RMG - St. Francis de Sales Communicator: All for Love

(ANS – Rome) - The figure of St. Francis de Sales, chosen by Don Bosco as an example of a communicator, teaches that communication is a matter of the heart. In his expression, "Everything in the Church is love: everything lives in love, for love, and of love," we understand his revolution in the way of communicating, and how communication becomes fruitful when it allows communion and the exchange of one's experiences in a path of accompaniment and collaboration in God's project.
