Golaghat, India - February 2025 - On 3 February, Don Bosco College in Golaghat kicked off ‘College Week’ with a lively opening ceremony featuring a mix of academic celebrations, cultural performances and motivational speeches. The event was presided over by Shri Atul Bora, Honourable Minister of the Assam Cabinet, who received the Guard of Honour, hoisted the school flag and delivered an inspirational speech. Fr Kamil Horo, Principal of the school, prayed for the wisdom and knowledge of the students, while Fr A. Amaladoss, Principal, expressed his pride in opening ‘College Week’. The Principal also emphasised the significance of the event, emphasising on skills development, reflection and confidence building of the students. He went on to highlight the institution's achievements, both academically and in sports. For their part, the students committed themselves to the discipline and hard work required by the school.
