(ANS - Castelnuovo Don Bosco) - When he describes his missionary vocation, the Salesian Pappi Reddy Gade speaks of a call, a summons, not a choice: "In the choice there is always an action to be taken between good and evil. The missionary call, on the other hand, is something precious: God calls us to complete His work." It is with this spirit of total dedication to a superior project that today this Salesian, born and raised in India, has placed himself at the service of the poor youth of South Sudan.
Turin, Italy - November 2018 – On November 17, about 200 people enrolled in the "Anima MGS" course – SYM Soul. (ANS - Rome) – Explain in a few minutes the reality of the Salesian Congregation today and its journey towards the General Chapter; and then invite all young people to participate in a broad and extensive survey to help identify the profile of the Salesian young people need. This is the goal of a new video produced by the Dicastery of Social Communication and the Southern Italy Province (IME), recently published online.

(ANS - Casale Monferrato) - A more welcoming structure, furnished with taste, rigor and sobriety, will now host Non-Accompanied Foreign Minors (MSNA) and male Italian minors in a path of semi-autonomy. Conceived and implemented two years ago, in collaboration with the residential community "Harambée", now the new "Group Apartment" (Gapp) is located within the Salesian structure with a greater capacity for receptiveness, that is, up to six people. In this way it wants to emblemize, in a concrete fashion, the welcoming spirit of the entire oratory and parish community.

RMG - St. Francis de Sales Communicator: All for Love
(ANS – Rome) - The figure of St. Francis de Sales, chosen by Don Bosco as an example of a communicator, teaches that communication is a matter of the heart. In his expression, "Everything in the Church is love: everything lives in love, for love, and of love," we understand his revolution in the way of communicating, and how communication becomes fruitful when it allows communion and the exchange of one's experiences in a path of accompaniment and collaboration in God's project.
