(ANS – Roma) – “From the external point of view nothing changed in my life. As before I was a university student, daughter of my parents, active Catholic as before. But I found a deeper sense of my apostolate and strengthened my union with God and found a sense of belonging to a wider family”. This is how Ms. Olga K., World President of the VDB, explains what changed with her entry into the Secular Institute of the Volunteers of Don Bosco (VDB). On Saturday 20 May the VDB will celebrate the 100th anniversary of their foundation.

This is what Fr Tadeusz Rozmus, Councillor for the Central and Northern Europe region, said in February when he was describing the region he is responsible for. Precisely because of the complexity and variety of the region, the Team Visit for the Region to be conducted by the Rector Major, Fr Á.F. Artime and his Council, is divided into two parts. Tomorrow, Tuesday 16 May, that of the Atlantic-German zone will begin at the Salesianum in Rome.

THE MESSAGE OF THE VICAR OF THE RECTOR MAJOR,
Fr Stefano Martoglio, SDBThe beginning of the new year is illuminated in our liturgy by the ancient formula with which the Israelite priests blessed the people: "May the Lord bless you, and keep you.
