Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Italy - February 2022 - On February 16, at Colle Don Bosco, the Promoting Committee for the project "The Pathways of Don Bosco" in the Asti area was formed. About thirty municipal representatives interested in the route were present. The leader is the Municipality of Castelnuovo Don Bosco and the Salesians of Colle Don Bosco. The "Don Bosco Pathways or Walks" is a religious, cultural and tourist itinerary conceived ten years ago by the Colle Don Bosco, the Municipality of Castelnuovo, the Metropolitan City of Turin, the project “Strade di Colori e Sapori” (Streets of Colors and Flavors) and the Municipality of Chieri, and which is now completed with the Cammini di Don Bosco in the Monferrato of Asti and Alessandria, in collaboration with the Basso Monferrato Astigiano Local Action Group (GALBMA), the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) of Asti, municipalities, associations and Pro Loco, the tourist board, of the territory. The Cammini di Don Bosco, inspired by the famous autumn walks that the Saint made with his boys in the years 1846-1864, still arouse the fascination of friendship, of walking together or with oneself, of meeting traditions, cultures, places rich in history, art, and values that are always current in a stupendous landscape context that favors spirituality and communion.
