(ANS – Jaboatão dos Guararapes) – On Wednesday, 31 January 2024, the Salesian Institute in Jaboatão dos Guararapes received an illustrious and exciting visit. Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major of the Salesians of Don Bosco, made an unscheduled visit to the Educative and Pastoral Community demonstrating his warm and attentive presence for them all.

(ANS – Rome) – The Feast of Don Bosco is a day of celebration in all Salesian communities around the world. Great celebrations were also held at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Rome, a church Don Bosco strongly and which he had built at the expense of his own health. The climax of the feast came with the solemn afternoon Eucharistic concelebration, presided over by the titular Cardinal of the Basilica, Cardinal Giuseppe Versaldi.

(ANS – Monrovia) – The starting signal for the construction of a multifunctional sports arena has taken place. After a long planning and approval process, the groundbreaking ceremony took place at this year's Don Bosco Feast on January 31, 2024. The Salesians of Don Bosco together with Don Bosco Mondo (Bonn/Germany) are building a sports arena in Liberia's Central Prison in the capital city Monrovia, which they are dedicating to Pope Francis.

(ANS – Turin) – Yesterday, Wednesday, 31 January 2024, was, as is traditional, a day of great celebration in Turin for all the friends of Don Bosco, for the Salesian Family and for the Congregation itself. The day in Valdocco was full of celebrations, and once again its model of witness of faith and social commitment was transmitted to all the faithful and sympathisers of Salesian work.
