(ANS – Panjim) – A Salesian priest at Don Bosco, Fr Ralin Joseph de Souza, has been heading the Goa Basketball Association (GBA) for four years and has now achieved a unique distinction: He is the best-qualified basketball coach from Goa and the third-best in the country is the best-qualified basketball coach from Goa and the third-best in the country.
(ANS - Camagüey) - There are no religious colleges or private colleges in Cuba since the triumph of the 1959 revolution. Everything is state-owned. However, the Salesians have been able to find their place and put into practice Don Bosco's Preventive System by reaching young people through work in the parishes.
(ANS - Mexico City) - From 27 to 31 July, Mexico City hosted the meeting of the Central Coordination Committee of the America Salesian School (ESA in Spanish), which audited the ESA IV Continental Meeting in Medellin, Colombia, last 9 - 12 May, and planned ESA's activities for the next five years.

RMG – Don Bosco: “The Fascinating Saint”(ANS - Rome) - Don Bosco is perhaps the most amazing and fascinating saint, history has ever produced. The humble work which he began for the welfare of his poor and abandoned boys in Italy has produced astonishing results, and today there are nearly 14000 Salesians working in 138 countries, and there are more than 200,000 members belonging to the 32 groups of the worldwide Salesian Family sharing the charism of Don Bosco and reaching out to the needy young people.

Dear friends and readers, members of the Salesian Family, for this month's greeting in the Salesian Bulletin I will focus on a very important event that the Salesian Congregation is holding presently: General Chapter XXIX. This assembly, the most important one that the Congregation can experience, occurs every six years along the Salesian Congregation’s journey.
