Cáceres, Spain – 1956 – This photograph, taken in 1956, captures a moment from the blessing ceremony of the machinery at the Vocational Training School in Cáceres. At the event, project director, Fr. Francisco Gamarro SDB, the then-Bishop of Coria-Cáceres, Monsignor Llopis Ivorra, the President of the Provincial Council of Cáceres, and other local civil authorities of the time were also present. The school was located in the former convent of San Francisco, which had long been under the care of the Franciscans. It was later managed by the Salesians for about ten years, until August 1964. Even today, many former students fondly remember the Salesians for their dedication and work at the school.
