(ANS - Rome) - A moment of information, sharing, and community: as usual at the end of a General Council plenary session, the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, described the work done in the past few weeks to the Salesians of the General House.
(ANS - San Salvador) – On 14 July, the Vice-President of the Republic of El Salvador, Hon. Oscar Ortiz; the Rector of the Don Bosco University (UDB), Salesian Coadjutor Mario Rafael Olmos; Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Hon. Florence Miao-Hung Hsie; and the Executive Director of the National Commission for Micro and Small Enterprises (CONAMYPE), Ileana Rogel, opened the "COWORKING CENTER UDB", a physical space that aims to promote innovation in micro and small businesses related to the production of fabrics, ceramics and typical sweets.
(ANS - Buenos Aires) - For many "digital immigrants," apps (applications) have no clear features or connotations. For "digital natives," instead, it seems almost impossible to live without them. No doubt, though, digital media is changing people's lives. And it's not a novelty that there are apps designed to help and sustain many people who have less. South Argentina's "Ceferino Namuncurá" Province (ARS) has created the "Salí donando" app (literally: I went out to donate), a new way of helping the poor, and also obtaining an individual benefit for oneself.

RMG – Don Bosco: “The Fascinating Saint”
(ANS - Rome) - Don Bosco is perhaps the most amazing and fascinating saint, history has ever produced. The humble work which he began for the welfare of his poor and abandoned boys in Italy has produced astonishing results, and today there are nearly 14000 Salesians working in 138 countries, and there are more than 200,000 members belonging to the 32 groups of the worldwide Salesian Family sharing the charism of Don Bosco and reaching out to the needy young people.

Dear friends and readers, members of the Salesian Family, for this month's greeting in the Salesian Bulletin I will focus on a very important event that the Salesian Congregation is holding presently: General Chapter XXIX. This assembly, the most important one that the Congregation can experience, occurs every six years along the Salesian Congregation’s journey.
