(ANS - Rome) - The videos of the world Novena to Mary Help of Christians (15-23 May) proposed by the Salesian Headquarters are already ready and will be made available in the next few days. The spiritual proposal for this year's novena, elaborated thanks to the collaboration between the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA), the "IME Comunicazione" team, and the Salesian iNfo Agency (ANS), will focus attention on Mary as "Powerful Virgin," to be referred to with filial devotion in these pandemic times.
(ANS - Rome) - In view of the 11th of the month - the day the Salesian Congregation is especially dedicated to missionary animation - the Sector for the Missions is launching a new video of the "CaglieroLife" series. The theme of the video for this month of May is solidarity, which is expressed in sharing.
(ANS - Rome) - A letter to express and testify to his confreres and the local population "the closeness, fraternal affection and great concern" – his own, and of the whole Congregation: a letter sent these first days of May by the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, to the Councilor for South Asia, Fr Michael Biju, to the Provincials and to the Salesians in India.
(ANS - Rome) - The tradition of the Novena to Mary Help of Christians, widespread since the time of Don Bosco within the Salesian Family, in recent years has increasingly taken on the dimension of international community prayer, of shared spirituality on a global level, thanks to above all to the initiative of the “worldwide” Novena shared through the channels of the Salesian iNfo Agency. This year the novena is characterized by fixing the gaze on Mary under the invocation of the "Powerful Virgin".
(ANS - Rome) - "Animating and governing the community - The ministry of the Salesian Rector" is the fruit of a process of renewal which involved both local and provincial Salesian communities, already in the preparation of the document itself, as it continues to involve them now, in its ongoing dissemination. The most innovative part is the third, which is addressed to the Salesian communities and the educative-pastoral communities. Their mutual interaction and the path of growth that they mutually nourish is the subject of this part of the document.
(ANS - Rome) - The last video interview will be released next week to facilitate the reading and sharing of the third part of the text "Animating and governing the community - The ministry of the Salesian Rector", dedicated to the Salesian community and the community educational pastoral TOGETHER. It is the most innovative part of the document. As for the three previous videos - the general introduction and those concerning the first and second part respectively - we start with a short presentation video (2'15 "in Italian and English) which acts as an antiphon to what will be available in five languages, both in video and through other community animation materials, starting next week.
