Valencia, Venezuela – February 2025 – On February 22, the "Don Bosco" school in Valencia hosted a Salesian gathering, bringing together 110 participants, including Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA), Salesian Cooperators, laypeople, and young people from various Salesian houses. The event was organized by the Delegates for Salesian Youth Ministry (SDB and FMA) and featured animative talks by Fr. Rafael Borges, Fr. Carlos Da Franca, and Sr. Julieta Martínez, who delved into The Memoirs of the Oratory and the chronicles of Mother Mazzarello. Guided by the theme "On the Journey with Mother Mazzarello and Don Bosco," the gathering was inspired by the biblical quote "I am the vine, you are the branches" (John 15:5). Throughout the day, participants explored the roots of the Salesian charism. Similar meetings will be held in other regions of the country to further strengthen the Salesian Family’s connection to the legacy of Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello.
