I emphasise some of the points regarding communication today from a Salesian perspective, based on the planning of the Communications Department for the next five years. Thanks for your attention and fellowship.” Fr. Gildasio Mendes, Councillor for Social Communication.
(ANS – Rome) – Since 1993, March 22 has been designated as World Water Day. This commemoration focuses our attention on the importance of water in our lives and raises awareness concerning the 2.2 billion people who live without access to safe water. Since 2015, an essential aspect of the observance is to encourage governments to work at achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030. To reach this goal, all members of society need to take concrete actions to help preserve our precious resource of water and work to ensure that proper sanitation is possible throughout the world. And the Salesians do their best to reach it.
