Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Italy - February 2019 - On 16 and 17 February, at Colle Don Bosco, the two days of the Savio Club took place. About 400 young people took part in the event, 100 from the third grade, the others from grades one and two, coming from 30 Salesian houses and various parishes from all over Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta. The animation team consisted of Salesian and postulant novices, some animators, male and female, of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) and young Salesians and young FMAs. In support of animation, another large team made up of some families helped with logistics.
(ANS - Bra) - A case of fully successful integration, where the education and vocational training offered by Salesians played a fundamental role: the story of Hadidi Lakbir, 30, now married and father of a child. 25 years ago he arrived in Italy from Morocco to join his father who worked for a local business. But today it is Hadidi himself who has become an entrepreneur.
Turin, Italy - February 2019 - The "leaving course" meeting was held on the weekend of 9-10 February, addressed to all those youths discerning their missionary call. Meeting the unaccompanied minors of the "San Luigi" community and the young people of the "movida" on Saturday evening in a busy Turin allowed the young students of the leaving course to experience the trouble – or not - of letting themselves be transformed in the first person by their relationship with the other.
(ANS – Pinerolo) – Leopoldo Pinto is one of the 19 novices currently welcomed at Pinerolo (Piedmont, Italy-ICP Province); he is 31 years old and he was born in East Timor, where he grew up surrounded by the loving kindness of his parents and the Salesians in the orphanage of Los Palos. However, he belongs to the Salesian Irish Province. Here is his story.
(ANS – Rome) – On 11 and 12 February, coordinated by Don Bosco Network with the support of Don Bosco International and Don Bosco – United Nations, the annual gathering of organizations dealing with advocacy and campaign with a Salesian approach has taken place for the sixth time.
(ANS - Turin) - "Now I recommend to some of you who have a good memory, that you write down what I have said," Don Bosco often repeated. There have always been Salesians who have cherished and recorded the facts and the words of the founder. Fr Teresio Bosco (1931-2019) was one of these men.

(ANS – Rome) – 2025 marks the tenth anniversary of Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ landmark encyclical letter on the Care for Our Common Home, in which he invited all people of good to “a new dialogue about how we are shaping the future of our planet” (Laudato Si’, 14). RMG - St. Francis de Sales Communicator: All for Love
(ANS – Rome) - The figure of St. Francis de Sales, chosen by Don Bosco as an example of a communicator, teaches that communication is a matter of the heart. In his expression, "Everything in the Church is love: everything lives in love, for love, and of love," we understand his revolution in the way of communicating, and how communication becomes fruitful when it allows communion and the exchange of one's experiences in a path of accompaniment and collaboration in God's project.

Fr Stefano Martoglio, SDBThe beginning of the new year is illuminated in our liturgy by the ancient formula with which the Israelite priests blessed the people: "May the Lord bless you, and keep you.
