(ANS - Palermo) - Evangelizing and educating is like saying heart and proclamation. These are the keywords of the seminar to be held Friday, 13 May, and Saturday, May 14, in Palermo, organized by the Don Bosco School "Villa Ranchibile" to celebrate the Fourth Centenary of the death of St. Francis de Sales. The thematic node of the seminar, "From the intuition of St. Francis de Sales to the challenges of post-modernity: evangelize and educate" has its foundation in the Saint's phrase, "Nothing through constraint, all through love," taken as the diamond of the insights from specialists, bishops, and students.
Turin, Italy - May 2022 - On Sunday, May 8, the sixth meeting of the "Journey into the Heart of the World" 2021-2022 was held at the Mary Help of Christians Institute in which the young people who will go on mission this summer participated. In the afternoon they received some practical advice from Fr Fabio Mamino and other young people who have gone on a mission in past years. The day ended with a very important moment: the celebration of the missionary mandate presided over by Fr Leonardo Mancini, Superior of the Salesian Circumscription Piedmont and Aosta Valley (ICP), with the intervention of Sr. Emma Bergandi, FMA, IPI Provincial, during which the missionary cross was handed over to the 20 members of the three missionary groups who will leave this summer for Lithuania, Romania, and Albania.
