(ANS – Rome) – The first business card of a communication project is its title or motto, and its graphic image, i.e. the logo. In the run-up to the Communication 2024 Conference, "Shaping Tomorrow", scheduled to take place from 1 to 7 August 2024 at the facilities of the Pontifical Salesian University (UPS) in Rome, the Congregation's Social Communication Sector today explains the meanings of these two elements.

(ANS – Rome) – As part of an Official Visit to West Africa, the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, will get to know and visit, on Saturday 6 April 2024, the Don Bosco centre in Ashaiman, Ghana.

(ANS - Rome) - Young people from all over the world are once again invited to participate in the "Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival" (DBGYFF), the Salesian international youth film festival. The Social Communication Sector of the Salesian Congregation has in fact joyfully announced the third edition of the competition, the final of which is scheduled for 17-18 October 2024 - as usual in a multitude of realities and locations in over 100 countries around the world. With reference to the bicentenary year of the dream of Don Bosco at the age of nine, and in tune with the global concern for the care of Creation, the theme of this year's festival is: "I have a Dream - Youth and Climate Change - Making Mother Earth Cleaner and Greener".

(ANS - Madrid) - On the evening of Thursday, April 4th, the premiere of 'Sueños, el musical', a production by Fr. Toño Casado, who is already known as the author and composer of other successful musicals such as '33 el musical' and 'Viacrucis', took place at the Salesian opera house 'Paseo' in Madrid. The musical narrates the story of Saint John Bosco and his dreams, particularly the prophetic dream he had at the age of nine, which profoundly influenced his life. Among the attendees at the premiere were the Rector Major of the Salesian Congregation, Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Cardinal José Cobo Cano, Archbishop of Madrid, and the Archbishop Emeritus of Madrid, Cardinal Carlos Osoro Sierra.

(ANS – Lagos) – Children who live at and visit the Don Bosco Child Protection Center, in Onipetesi, Lagos, Nigeria, have fresh, clean water thanks to donor funding from the Salesian Missions “Clean Water Initiative.” Salesian Missions is the U.S. development arm of the Salesians of Don Bosco. With the funding, the center was able to construct a borehole and tank stand, as well as provide maintenance for an old well.

(ANS - Turin) – Two days dedicated to the places that preserve the memory and legacy of the "Greats". It is to celebrate these places full of charm that the Associazione Nazionale Case della Memoria has decided to promote throughout Italy the National Days of the houses of Italian famous people, scheduled for next Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April 2024. An event that this year has reached its third edition and which has been joined by the Casa Don Bosco Museum, custodian of the memory of the Father and Teacher of Youth.
