(ANS – Bellflower) –The other day, I attended the 10:00 AM Mass at St Dominic Savio Church in Bellflower, CA. I was impressed with the way the liturgy took place. There was nothing out of the ordinary, considering the structure of the liturgy. However, something different and unique was happening. Children and young people were empowered to serve. From the greetings to the choir to the Eucharist Ministers, all were youth.

(ANS – Quetta) – On 18 March a new program, called "Early Learning Adventures", was launched at the Don Bosco Learning Centre in Quetta, Pakistan. This initiative represents a crucial moment for the education, emancipation and development of the Salesian community in Pakistan.

(ANS – Melbourne) – Saint John the Baptist Parish in Clifton Hill and Collingwood, and Saint Margaret Mary’s in Brunswick, celebrated with great solemnity and joy the beginning of the Easter Triduum, as hundreds of faithful parishioners and visitors came together to participate in the liturgies.

(ANS – Quito) – On the eve of last year's World Youth Day, the Pope, in a conversation with young people, reminded them that "joy is missionary, joy is not for oneself, it is to bring something." This invitation of an outgoing Church is received by young people from different areas of the Salesian Province of Ecuador (ECU), coming from Oratories, Schools, Higher Institutes, Parishes and Shrines. Throughout the year, they continually prepare for one of the most significant experiences they have: the missions during Holy Week.

(ANS – Rome) – As is the case every year, the retreat for the Zeffirino Namuncurà  international community  in Via della Bufalotta, Rome, the place for the students of theology, takes place once lessons conclude at the Pontifical Salesian University, before the Easter break, until Holy Thursday.

(ANS – Fujairah) - Fr Alfred Maravilla, General Councillor for the Missions, was on a mission animation visit to the Salesian community of Fujairah in the UAE from 27 to 31 March 2024.
