Medellín, Colombia – June 2024 – The Retreat is a time of spiritual renewal that Don Bosco considered a fundamental part and synthesis of all the practices of Piety. The Salesian San Luis Beltrán Province organised the days from 23 to 29 June to develop the 2024 retreat led by Father Guillermo Acero, an expert in the Bible, and involving Salesians from the Provinces of Medellín, Bogotá and the Antilles. Fr Luis Fernando Valencia, Superior of the COM Province, accompanied the retreat.

Salvador, Brazil – June 2024 – Over 1200 young athletes have taken part in the 37th Salesian Olympics in the North-East, held from 26 to 30 June in Salvador (BA). The young athletes, from the schools of the Salesians of Don Bosco, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of the Mother of God, experienced an intense programme of sports competitions, coexistence, pastoral activities and Salesian spirituality. One of the novelties of this edition was the inclusion of robotics as a sport mode.

Sanlúcar la Mayor, Spain – June 2024 - The Youth Ministry team of the Salesian Province of Spain - Mary Help of Christians (SMX) celebrated the last session of the 2023/24 academic year on 26 and 27 June with an expanded meeting that brought together representatives of the teams from Schools, Oratories and Youth Centres, Parishes, Social Education Platforms, together with the sectors of Vocational Animation, Missionary Animation, Faith Education, the  Bosco Global NGO and the Communication Delegation. The first working session was focused on the review of catechetical processes, as part of the actions envisaged in the Province's Salesian Educative and Pastoral Plant (SEPP), focused above all on the changes of stage and on the reflection initiated by the Process of Education for the Faith. The second block of work, after the team meeting and the meeting of the working group for socio-occupational inclusion, was dedicated to the proposal of digital evangelisation. “For the next academic year, in line with the SEPP we want to carry out a digital evangelisation initiative. For this reason, we consider it important to make a preliminary reflection that leads us to say what we mean by digital evangelisation and what initiatives to promote, "explained Fr Jordi Lleixà, Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry. Youth protagonism was reflected on in the second day,  as part of the options provided for by the Overall Province Plan and after the recent Provincial Chapter, where the methods to implement it were explored, together with the reflection on the book "A youth ministry for our time". The meeting ended with the review of SEPP objectives, information and a review of the objectives and the schedule to be taken into account.

Bellflower, United States – June 2024 – The Salesians of the Western United States (SUO) held their Provincial Chapter from 17 to 21 June at St John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California. The event brought together 40 participants, including 21 elected delegates, 7 young Salesians in formation, 2 FMAs, 8 lay representatives and 2 youth representatives. During the Provincial Chapter, the theme of the next GC29 "Passionate about Jesus Christ, dedicated to young people", and its three core areas were explored and the future of SUO Province was outlined. At the conclusion of the Provincial Chapter, a delegate to the GC29 and a substitute were chosen, Fr Kristian Laygo and Fr Fabian Cardenas respectively.
