United States – Provincial Chapter of the Salesians of the United States West Province
Bellflower, United States – June 2024 – The Salesians of the Western United States (SUO) held their Provincial Chapter from 17 to 21 June at St John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California. The event brought together 40 participants, including 21 elected delegates, 7 young Salesians in formation, 2 FMAs, 8 lay representatives and 2 youth representatives. During the Provincial Chapter, the theme of the next GC29 "Passionate about Jesus Christ, dedicated to young people", and its three core areas were explored and the future of SUO Province was outlined. At the conclusion of the Provincial Chapter, a delegate to the GC29 and a substitute were chosen, Fr Kristian Laygo and Fr Fabian Cardenas respectively.
