This year's registration numbers broke previous records, with over 400 children and 240 young volunteers taking part in the camp. Since its foundation in 1966, Camp Savio has been an essential program at the church of St Dominic Savio, evolving over the years to offer a wide range of activities and programs. The camp now includes arts and crafts activities, active games, prayers, swimming, and more. Each day begins with an energising Salesian morning gathering, full of applause and songs, which give a positive tone to the day. One of the highlights of the first week was the focus on God's loving-kindness. The participants were challenged to greet everyone they met on a trip, spreading positivity and inspiring those around them. The typical day at Camp Savio is structured with many fun and meaningful activities: morning prayer and meeting, followed by a briefing for all the consultants; then the participants engage in various activities designed to promote teamwork, creativity and personal growth. The day ends with a reflective message in the Salesian Goodnight, which allows young people to reflect on the lessons learned during the day.

The initiative was also made possible thanks to the funding  from Missioni Don Bosco, the Mission Office in Turin, and the excellent coordination of the Planning and Development Office of the AFC-EST Delegation.
