Los Teques, Venezuela – June 2024 – The 4th Vocational Discernment Meeting took place at Villa Don Bosco in Los Teque from 21 to 23 June,, the last one of this Pastoral Educational year 2023-2024. 22 young people who are making their way in discernment took part. The theme revolved around Salesian Religious Life and, in addition, the participants had the opportunity to share a few hours with the Salesians in the Feast of Fidelity, celebrated in the Salesian Postnovitiate. Four of these young people have been admitted to the prenovitiate: Alexis Flores (Valencia), Erick Cedeño (Los Teques), Yoalbert Medina (Barquisimeto), José María Gutiérrez (Punto Fijo), and will begin their formation experience in September in Los Teques. In the same way, eleven young people from this group were admitted to begin the Aspirantate experience in the coming months. In this activity it was possible to evaluate this year's process together with the young people. The meeting was attended by the members of the Provincial Commission for Vocational Animation, chaired by Fr Juan Luis Arveláez, and was attended by the Provincial of Venezuela Fr Rafael Montenegro, Fr Carlos Da Franca, Provincial Economer and Mrs Sheyla Deliz, from the Provincial Office for Social Communication.

Addlestone, Great Britain – June 2024 – Salesian Makuochukwu Malachy Okeke made  his Perpetual Profession on 23 June at the church of the Holy Family in Addlestone. The celebration was presided over by Fr Gerry Briody, Superior of the Province of Great Britain (GBR) and involved a large number of faithful and parishioners. The Mass was also streamed so that the Salesian's family, friends and confreres, belonging to ANN Province could follow him from Nigeria.

Medellín, Colombia – June 2024 – The Retreat is a time of spiritual renewal that Don Bosco considered a fundamental part and synthesis of all the practices of Piety. The Salesian San Luis Beltrán Province organised the days from 23 to 29 June to develop the 2024 retreat led by Father Guillermo Acero, an expert in the Bible, and involving Salesians from the Provinces of Medellín, Bogotá and the Antilles. Fr Luis Fernando Valencia, Superior of the COM Province, accompanied the retreat.
