(ANS - Turin) –The morning of 16 August 2017, on the 202th anniversary of Don Bosco's birth, is the date scheduled for the the ceremony of relocating the Saint's relic which was stolen the night of 2 June, and recovered by the Carabinieri Police of Asti's Provincial Command the following 15 June.

Tlazala, Mexico - July 2017 - From June 30 to July 2, about 60 young people from the Salesian Youth Movement of the Mexico City Province (MEM) gathered in Tlazala to live an experience of reflection and to elaborate their own personal life project as Salesian animators from a vocational and missionary point of view.

Tiruchy, India - July 2017 - On July 8-9, the Salesian Youth Movement (MGS) of the Tiruchy Province met with 56 young animators at the "Don Bosco Media Center". They were accompanied by a number of Salesians for two days of animation and seminars as part of the annual SYM meeting.

Veržej, Slovenia - July 2017 - From 30 June to 7 July, the Salesian "Marianum" house organized a week-long vacation for families and children who, due to economic difficulties, cannot afford to go away for their summer holidays. Around 100 people, families from various parts of Slovenia, lived the program in the style of the Salesian oratory with moments of prayer, sharing, workshops, trips, games, leisure and social events. The activities were organized and guided by the director of "Marianum", Fr Peter Pučnik, SDB, and various animators.

Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania - July 2017 - From 3 to 7 July, the International Voluntary Service (VIS) organized a workshop on "Protection of Human Rights” which was held at the Salesian Procurement Office of the East Africa Province (AFE). The workshop was led by Barbara Terenzi, an expert on the theme, and was attended by representatives of the Planning and Development Offices (PDO) from the various Provinces and Vice-Provinces of Africa.

Campo Grande, Brazil - July 2017 - From July 7 to 9, the II Vocational Meeting of Ministrants of the Campo Grande Province (BCG) was held with 73 participants guided by Fr. Wagner Luis Galvão, Provincial Delegate for the Youth and Young Adult Ministry.The closing mass was presided by Fr Gildasio Mendes, Inspector of the BCG Province.
