Munich, Germany - July 2017 - On 11 July, at the Salesian Don Bosco oratory, a celebration was held in the style of Don Bosco, the Saint of Children: sports, games, music and good cheer.

Fusagasugá, Colombia - July 2017 - The Spirituality House "Salesianum" of Fusagasugá-Cundinamarca held its annual Spiritual Exercises for Provincials, Counselors and Directors of the Salesian Provinces of Medellín (COM) and Bogotá (COB) from 2 to 8 July. The Exercises were led by Fr Alberto Lorenzelli, Provincial of Chile and saw the participation of 45 Salesians.

Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea - July 2017 - On July 8, Salesians of the "Beato Filippo Rinaldi" Vice Province of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands (PGS) gathered to celebrate the first anniversary of the Vice Province, the meeting characterized by great joy, fraternity and sharing.

Mumbai, India - June 2017 - From 28 to 30 June, the Education Commission of the Salesian Province of Mumbai, led by Fr James Tuscano, organized a seminar on the theme of "Salesian Identity" for supervisors and coordinators of the Salesian Institutions of Don Bosco.

Lecce, Italy - July 2017 - On July 6, during the traditional Feast of the Salesian Oratories of Puglia, the beach of Torre Chianca became the "Lido Don Bosco" for a day. Many oratories were present: Brindisi, Molfetta, Martano, Corigliano d'Otranto, Foggia, Santeramo in Colle, Bari and Andria for a total of one thousand children who spent a day of sharing and talks, in happiness and friendship in the spirit of Don Bosco. There were many games played in the water and on the beach, moments of entertainment with music, singing and dancing. All the children of the oratories present were able to present the theme of the various Summer Camps with their own anthem, and participated with enthusiasm, fair play and the desire to have fun. Many thanks went to the animators and referees of the Lecce Oratory. During the final prayer, on the seashore itself, the Director of Lecce, Fr Pierluigi Lanotte, wanted to remind all the children of Syria living the experience of the Summer Camps in this period, invoking the protection of Mary Help of Christians and praying for peace. The greeting and blessing of the Provincial, Fr Pasquale Cristiani, ended the day's events.
