Mexico City, Mexico - July 2017 - The Days of Salesian Pastoral Formation Planning 2017 were held on July 6 and 7 on the theme of “Building the new Salesian School before the Family, Interculturality and the World of the Young.” The event was attended by laymen, religious, teachers and staff members of the various pedagogical, pastoral and administrative departments of a number of educational centers of the Salesian Province of Mexico City (MEM).

Mornese, Italy - July 2017 - From 11 to 16 July, the Spiritual Exercises for the Delegates and Salesian Cooperators of Italy, strongly requested by the Salesian Cooperators themselves, were held in Mornese as a joint formation between lay people and consecrated persons as well as a rediscovery of the origins of charism. The theme of the workshop was: "On the steps of Main, teacher of Life ...", a study to better understand the figure and spirituality of Mother Mazzarello. This experience is related to one made two years ago in Sant'Ignazio sopra Lanzo (TO), a place dear to Don Bosco and chosen by him for his Spiritual Exercises.

Makati City, Philippines - July 8, 2017 - The members of the Salesian Family and Salesians of the Northern Philippines Province (FIN) met at the Don Bosco Technical Institute in Makati for its annual formation day with the participation of Fr Anthony Paul Bicomong, FIN Inspector, and Fr Roberto Roxas, Provincial Delegate for the Salesian Family.

Lima, Peru - July 2017 - A Salesian Day celebrated on 8 July with more than 200 members of the Salesian Family (FS). The event was organized by the FS Provincial Delegate, Fr Raúl Acuña, who proposed the role of the family today as the theme for reflection. Fr Manuel Cayo, Provincial of the Peru Province, celebrated the closing Mass.

Blitar, Indonesia - July 2017 - In the cities of Blitar and Surabaya, the third meeting of the Bosconian students of Indonesia's Salesian works was held from 5 to 9 July on the theme of the Rector Major's Strenna: "We are Family! Every House, a School of Life and Love."

Maputo, Mozambique - July 2017 – A meeting of the Council and Directors of the Salesian Vice Province of Mozambique (MOZ) was held on 3 and 4 July. The future of the Salesian mission and the reconfiguration process of Salesian presence in Mozambique, especially regarding Moamba and Matola, were studied and discussed during the meeting chaired by Fr. Marco Biaggi, MOZ Provincial.
