(ANS – Makati) – In a momentous gathering of minds,  36 Salesians and Lay Mission Partners from various sectors and departments of different Don Bosco schools and institutions participated in the first leg of DBEC (Don Bosco Educational Centers) Strategic Planning on March 6 and 7, 2024, at the Quaranta Hall, Braga Building, Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati.

(ANS – Rome) – The Salesian Central Italy Circumscription (ICC), through its Integral Ecology team, and the Cinecircoli Giovanili Socioculturali APS (CGS) association intend to launch a challenge to young people, entitled "Please look forward". The proposal will serve to raise awareness among teenagers and young adults aged 15 to 30 on the issues of integral ecology, through designing and creating audiovisual products. "Salesians for Social APS" and the Salesian VIS - International Volunteering for Development NGO will also collaborate in the initiative.

(ANS - San Salvador) – The Universidad Don Bosco (UDB) in El Salvador celebrates 40 years since its foundation in 2024, and has celebrated this significant anniversary in recent days with an unforgettable commemorative event.

(ANS – Rome) – The most recent two Sons of Don Bosco appointed bishops by the Holy Father will receive episcopal ordination together: on 20 April in the Papal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome, Cardinal Emil Paul Tscherrig, Apostolic Nuncio emeritus in Italy and in the Republic of San Marino, will consecrate Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major of the Salesians of Don Bosco, Titular Archbishop of Ursona, and Archbishop Giordano Piccinotti, Titular Archbishop of Gradisca, President of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See (APSA).

Berkley, United States – March 2023 – The Salesian Family in the Province of the United States West (SUO) met from 1 to 3 March, in a retreat designed specifically for Youth Ministry Coordinators, held at Don Bosco Hall in Berkley, California. The gathering of Coordinators from various Salesian works enphasised reflection, prayer, and strategic planning for our mission with the youth. The retreat was guided by Fr Fabian Cardenas and the Youth Ministry Office team, Marisol Becerra and Victoria Figueroa. The retreat was further enriched by the presence of special guests who shared their knowledge and experiences, including Fr Marcos Castillo, Fr Marco César Riveros, Johny Chamorro, Salesian missionary volunteer Mario Barrios and Fr. Mel Trinidad, SUO Provincial Superior. The retreat not only strengthened the resolve of the Youth Ministry Coordinators, but also reaffirmed the relevance and urgency of the Salesian mission in today's world. The insights and reflections of the retreat will therefore inspire a deeper engagement with young people on their journey of faith and life.

Krakow, Poland – March 2024 – The Salesian Cooperators Association (ASC) from the Province of Krakow (PLS) had its Lenten Spiritual Retreat at the Shrine of Our Lady of Oyster Brahma in Skarżysko Kamienna on 9 March 2024 . Representatives of local ASC communities from Jaslo, Skawa, Przemyśl, Rzeszów, Lublin, Kielce and Oświęcim took part, almost 50 people in all, along with five SDB delegates. During the Eucharist presided over by Fr Zygmunt Kostka, PLS Vice-Provincial, there was a special moment of prayer for all the concerns of the Salesian Family, especially for Ukraine, some works of which are under the aegis of the PLS Province. During the conference, Fr Wojciech Krawczyk shared his reflections on the Rector Major's Strenna 2024. Finally, the Way of the Cross, presided over by Fr Jan Kaczkowski, completed the retreat. At the same time, the youngest members of the Association experienced their three-day retreat in Wisła.
