Warsaw, Poland – March 2024 – The Councillor for the Central and Northern Europe Region, Fr Roman Jachimowicz, officially concluded, on 13 March, the Extraordinary Visitation to the Salesian Province of Poland-Warsaw (PLE), conducted in the name of the Rector Major. During the last meeting in Warsaw with the Provincial Council and the heads of the Salesian communities, Fr. Jachimowicz formally summed up and concluded the Extraordinary Visitation which lasted over a month. The Regional Councillor visited all the houses of the PLE Province, both in Poland and in Belarus. In his report he presented the strengths and potential of the PLE Province, also highlighting the challenges that the Province and individual communities face. The central point was the Eucharist in the Shrine of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the act of entrusting the works of the PLE Province to the Sacred Heart.

Grand-Halleux, Belgium – March 2024 – The Don Bosco Farnières Centre organised a meeting from 8 to 10 March for all actors involved in the Domaine Don Bosco de Farnières. Over 60 participants representing a dozen groups including SDB, FMA, staff, Salesian Cooperators, "Patro Don Bosco" of Verviers, volunteers, Haïti-Farnières, Ephata Don Bosco Movement, and among others some young "jeunesse-nature". The event was organised with the intention of spreading the spirit of Don Bosco in all those involved, promoting mutual knowledge, the human wealth of the great family of Farnières, the objectives of the centre and the contribution that everyone can give based on their skills and experiences.

Venice-Mestre, Italy – March 2024 - The school yearbook was presented on Saturday, 16 March on the occasion of the delivery of the report cards to parents and students of the Salesian Institute San Marco in Venice Mestre. This is a publication that gathers all the faces of students and teachers, in an unprecedented version that used technology and creativity to create a unique product. Thanks to AI, it was possible to customise the profile of each student by creating an avatar, or a digital figure for the students of the Institute. Each student was asked to provide a brief description of themselves that focused on both aesthetic and character aspects, data that was then used by an algorithm that governs the Leonardo.AI application, to generate the image described by each boy. The potential of this tool was further exploited through another form of artificial intelligence, OpenAI's ChatGPT, to give not only a visual consistency to this avatar, but rather a real story whose main charcter was the version designed and described by the students at the San Marco Institute.

Brazzaville, DR Congo – March 2024 – Dreaming big like Don Bosco was the central echo of the meeting of Salesian Youth Movement leaders of the Africa Congo Congo Vice-Province (ACC). The second meeting of the young SYM leaders from different pastoral areas of the ACC Vice-Province, in particular from Brazzaville, took place on 16 and 17 March in the St Charles Lwanga Salesian community. The two days were focused on the Rector Major's Strenna 2024, in order to strengthen the capacity of the leaders in their service in the oratories and youth centres and to adequately prepare for the Inter-Provincial Forum scheduled for next July in Kinshasa. Formation, Eucharistic adoration, listening, singing, confession and Mass were the great moments that marked the meeting.

Akure, Nigeria – March 2024 – The Salesians of the Africa Nigeria Niger Province (ANN), organised a vocational retreat for leaders on "Discovering the dream that God has for me", held from 14 to 17 March at the Mary Help of Christians Shrine in Akure. The primary objective of the retreat is to guide young people to appreciate the meaning of silence, prayer and listening, drawing inspiration from Samuel's vocational experience. During the days the participants were engaged in reflection sessions, spiritual exercises and moments of community prayer, all designed to foster a deeper connection with their faith and vocation. The vocational retreat for leaders is one of the means by which the Salesians of ANN Province are committed to cultivating the spiritual growth and vocational discernment of young people, allowing them to undertake a journey of faith and service guided by God's divine plan.

Ivato, Madagascar – March 2024 – The Salesian Mary Immaculate Vice-Province of Madagascar (MDG) has organied the presentation of the Rector Major, Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime;Bs Strenna for 2024, "The dream that makes you dream". A heart that transforms "wolves" into "lambs". The event was attended by all the staff of Radio Don Bosco Madagascar, the Technical Development Office and the community. The presentation was given by Fr Ramasindroavola Jean Venance, Delegate for Youth Ministry in the MDG Vice-Province, highlighting the key messages of the Rector Major and exploring Don Bosco's Childhood  Dream. At the end of the presentation there was a moment of exchange with questions, comments and ideas from the participants.
