The goal of the challenge is the design and implementation of reports of a maximum duration of 3 minutes that highlight an ecological problem regarding the following areas: waste in general, water, food, transport, plastic, clothing or smartphone, using only a smartphone for filming.
Participation in the competition is free of charge. To offer some useful tips to video creators, a video-lesson kindly created by Teresa Paoli, journalist and director. Since 2017 she has been correspondent of PresaDiretta, the in-depth Riccardo Iacona programme broadcast on RAI 3. Participants in the competition will be able to submit their videos from 18 March 2024 until 4 May 2024.
Starting on Monday, 6 May, the videos received will be published on the YouTube channel of the Cinecircoli Giovanili Socioculturali association and will be voted on by the public.
Voting will be open until 24 May 2024. The first prize, which will be awarded to the most significant story, will go to the video that has reached the highest number of online votes (50% of the score) and that has received the highest number of votes from the jury (50% of the score). The winner will receive a €500 voucher for audio-video equipment, as well as the opportunity to participate in a Film Festival with the CGS Association. The second prize, for the best photograph, will be awarded by the jury and will receive a €200 voucher.
