(ANS – Perth) – “We are called to be saints; that’s not something you have to put off until you’re older but can happen now.” With these words the Archbishop of Perth, Australia, Msgr. Timothy Costelloe, SDB, launched the challenge of holiness to a group of young people from across the region of Western Australia for the “Veritas” Catholic Youth Festival.
(ANS - Catemu) - Catemu is a municipality belonging to the Province of San Felipe de Aconcagua in the Valparaíso region. The "beautiful valley", as this beautiful Chilean city is called, offers a mild climate, numerous agricultural, mining and industrial activities and a complete system of canals that properly irrigate all the cultivated areas. Here, the Salesians offer young people a training program thanks to the well-known and much-appreciated Huidobro Foundation Agricultural School.
(ANS - Blera) – Can the little gestures of attention and kindness, one's smile and positivity really be fruitful, transmit a message of life, guide towards good? It would seem so - yes. "If it's true that Buffon is my current model and Peruzzi the idol who most influenced my growth in becoming a goalkeeper, Fr Francesco Pampinella was my first ever great meeting with a true number one," says Giuseppe Iacomini, a professional football goalkeeper who learned a lot from his encounter with a Salesian educator.

RMG – Don Bosco: “The Fascinating Saint”(ANS - Rome) - Don Bosco is perhaps the most amazing and fascinating saint, history has ever produced. The humble work which he began for the welfare of his poor and abandoned boys in Italy has produced astonishing results, and today there are nearly 14000 Salesians working in 138 countries, and there are more than 200,000 members belonging to the 32 groups of the worldwide Salesian Family sharing the charism of Don Bosco and reaching out to the needy young people.

This assembly, the most important one that the Congregation can experience, occurs every six years along the Salesian Congregation’s journey.
