(ANS - Paris) - The protest of the "yellow vests" has not stopped in France, ready as they are to return to the streets on the last weekend of 2018. Fr Jean-Marie Petitclerc, SDB, educator, expert on the banlieues and founder of the association "Le Valdocco" offers his point of view on this situation. Here is his testimony.

In the nineteenth century, in Italy, a young man named Giovanni Bosco undertook this evangelical adventure by becoming a priest and dedicating himself to the poorest young people. He imagined the Salesians of Don Bosco as a religious congregation manifested in the community life of clerics and laity (priests and brothers) who share a common mission. His original idea became a proposal for religious life.
