(ANS – Sihanoukville) – The gathering of EAO Provincial Delegates for Mission Animation (PDMA) in Sihanoukville are days of graces, with some “giants of missionary spirit”, living out the missio ad gentes (going to non-Christians to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus) of the Church and of the Salesian Congregation.
(ANS - Bukavu) - "The country is in very bad condition," wrote the bishops of the Democratic Republic of the Congo about a year ago. Most of the country's population lives in very bad conditions. There is an obvious lack of jobs, peace, a fair and just distribution of wealth, support for the less fortunate people ... What good news can the Church announce in this context? Do what Jesus did, according to the full range of works of mercy.

(ANS - Lubumbashi) – On leaving the main streets of Lubumbashi in the evening one might even see and meet a thousand children on the sidewalks and intersections. They are all between about 7 and 12 years old, both boys and girls. Where do they come from and what are they still doing on the street at that time of night?
