(ANS – Manila) – The humble bookstore on the ground floor of the 4-storey SDB Provincial House in Manila (one corner) is a window into the “WORD & LIFE PUBLICATIONS” started 30 years ago by one zealous Salesian, Fr Salvatore Putzu, in 1989 (National Bible Year) with the cooperation of four volunteers. Its main aim was to help the Filipino people, and especially the young, know God’s Word better and put it into practice.
