(ANS – Kigali) – In the last days of February, immediately after the Team Visit to the Africa-Madagascar Region, the Salesian Family Provincial Delegates of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA) gathered in Kigali, the Capital of Rwanda, together with the Representatives of the other groups of the Africa-Madagascar Region. The Kigali meeting was the seventh of its kind to be held globally, each of them dedicated to a different Region of the Salesian Family.

(ANS – Madrid) – The National Centre for Salesian Youth Ministry in Spain, in coordination with the Central Catequética Salesiana (CCS) the Salesian Publisher in the country, is presenting the second edition of the Pastoral Dialogues, the theme of which will be "Ministry in the metaverse: artificial intelligence vs pastoral intelligence". The event will take place on 12 April 2024 at the St James the Greater Province (SSM) Provincial House in Madrid, and will aim to study and reflect on the proposed theme thanks to contributions from various experts in the sector.

(ANS – Kakuma) – During his Animation Visit to Kenya, Fr Alfred Maravilla, General Councillor for the Missions, visited the Salesian mission in Korr and then the Salesian work among refugees in Kakuma from 27-29 February 2024, accompanied by Fr George Tharaniyil, Superior of the Salesian Province of East Africa (AFE), Fr Jose Padinjareparampil, Provincial Delegate for Missionary Animation, and Fr Eric Mairura from the Missions Sector.

(ANS – Milan) – The Launching of the National Exhibition of Masterpieces 2024 took place on Thursday, 29 February 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Salesian Saint Ambrose Institute in Milan. It was promoted by the National Headquarters of Centro Nazionale Opere Salesiane – Formazione Aggiornamento Professionale (CNOS-FAP). The guest of honour was Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major of the Salesians, who indicated in a round table discussion how the most important thing for Don Bosco was always to prepare his boys for life, giving them another future perspective.

(ANS - Rome) - An invitation to look to the future with eyes of hope, to still believe in the possibilities of young people and their dreams, and to never stop finding ways and new tools to accompany them: this was the final message delivered to the participants who attended the conference presenting the book "Called to Love with Hope” - Salesian Strennas of FR ÁNGEL FERNÁNDEZ ARTIME, sdb", which took place on Thursday 29 February 2024 at the "Maria Santissima Bambina" Institute in Rome.

(ANS – Dili) – Timor Leste is a small island developing state, with a population of 1.3 million people. It is also a very young country, having only become independent since 2002. There are so many challenges it faces; but certainly to overcome them it can count on the Sons of Don Bosco, present in the territory long before the country obtained its autonomy and who intend to offer citizens the best they can do: educate young people.
