(ANS – Nerul) – Don Bosco Senior Secondary School Nerul hosted the much-anticipated DBSN MUN'24 on 13 and 14 of July, drawing about 90 participants from various schools. This two-day conference featured committees like the International Press (IP), United Nations Security Council (UNSC), United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), and Lok Sabha. Each committee engaged in dynamic debates and simulations, allowing delegates to delve deep into global issues and sharpen their diplomatic skills.

(ANS – Esmeraldas) – 8 July was a special day for the Salesian presence in Esmeraldas. After several months of work at the "Madre del Salvador" Centre, the long-awaited day has arrived: the opening of the doors to children and young people so that they can enjoy the renovated spaces and have the opportunity to make good use of them during their free time. The event was chaired by Fr Marcelo Farfán, Superior of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Province of Ecuador (ECU).

(ANS - Rome) Talking about a new era sometimes frightens Church people, while other times it fascinates them. A new phase of history means a change in thinking, acting, planning and evangelising. Each new era introduces distinct processes and innovative tools linked to the modernisation of communication and the transformation of the entire culture. Some communication structures are relaxing, others are crystallising, even in the Church, while the public is acquiring unprecedented skills and presents increasingly innovative expectations.

(ANS – Formosa) – The Salesian Province of Argentina North (ARN) has celebrated the opening of the renewed Radio Manantial studio in recent days. The broadcaster, which is based in the Salesian House in Formosa, experienced a historic day with a special streaming broadcast in which the blessing of the broadcaster's new space was celebrated.

(ANS – Vielsalm) – An exciting project is taking shape in Farnières, a 40-hectare estate near Vielsalm, Belgium. The “Don Bosco Aujourd'hui”. website speaks about it.

(ANS – Antananarivo) – "Mobile Journalism" was the title of the workshop from which journalists from the Radio Don Bosco station in Madagascar benefited from 8 to 12 July. The formation course was facilitated by Fr Maciej Makuła, SDB, a member of the Social Communication Sector, and Ms Aleksandra Stankiewicz.
