(ANS – Rome) – The preparation process for General Chapter 29 (GC29) has already gone through several key stages to ensure the smooth running of the sessions, involving several key figures. A first and significant step was the coordination of translators and interpreters, essential to ensure the active participation of all the members of the Chapter, coming from various parts of the world and speaking different languages.

(ANS – Madrid) – For many years, Spain has been one of the countries with the highest participation in European Mobility Week. Last year, of the 3,351 participating European municipalities, 389 were Spanish and 219 of them implemented permanent measures.

(ANS – Parnamirim) – The Don Bosco Salesian Institute in Parnamirim opened its new sports facility, the Don Bosco Gymnasium on Monday 16 September. The opening ceremony, which took place in the afternoon with Mass, the blessing of the space and the opening of the Interclass Games, was part of the celebrations for the 15th anniversary of the school's foundation.

(ANS – Campo Grande) – Salesian formators from the Provinces of the Salesian America South Cone and Interamerica Regions concluded their continental meeting in Campo Grande, Brazil, on Friday 20 September 2024. The meeting began on Sunday 15th, coordinated by the Vice-Provincial of St Alphonsus Liguori Provinice (BCG), Fr Ademir Lima de Oliveira, and the representative of the Formation Sector, Fr Guido Errico, a member of the Sector led by Fr Ivo Coelho, General Councillor for Formation.

(ANS – Castelnuovo Don Bosco) – It has been almost two weeks since, on 12 September 2024, the members of the 155th Salesian Missionary Expedition participating in the "Corso Germoglio" and the missionaries of the "Corso Respiro" – intended for those who work in missionary contexts and want a time of renewal – have set out together on a "Spiritual journey in the life and times of Don Bosco" that took them to Colle Don Bosco, Castelnuovo, Chieri, Mondonio, Mornese and Valdocco.
