(ANS – Lubumbashi) – Frs  Andrea Bozzolo and Jarosław Rochowiak, Rector Magnificus and General Academic Secretary of the Pontifical Salesian University (UPS) in Rome respectively, paid a working and courtesy visit to the newly founded Don Bosco University of Lubumbashi from 15 to 17 February 2024. On the occasion they met the administrative staff, representatives of the teaching staff and some groups of students.

(ANS – Madrid) – As is the case every year, the Social Platforms of the Salesians of Spain’s St James the Greater Province (SSM) are offering their own social awareness campaign. This year, as part of the "A dream for you"  pastoral campaign and on the International Day of Social Justice, on 20 February, the chosen message is "Let us dream and be committed" ("Soñamos y nos comprometemos", in the original version). For this reason, at 11:00 (UTC+1) on Tuesday 20 February, a video was published on the YouTube channel of the Salesians of Spain in which several people (young people and adults) from the projects run by the SSM Salesian Social Platforms talk about their dreams.

(ANS - Rome) - Thinking about Don Bosco and detaching him from his dreams means taking away a fundamental aspect of his complex and rich personality. Besides, he himself in the Memoirs of the Oratory recounted many of his dreams, where dreamlike experiences, external psycho-sensations, spiritual inspirations when although not prophetic always, make whole and define a reality.

(ANS - Rome) - A dream embedded in a postage stamp! And if that dream is the one St John Bosco had at the age of nine, the undertaking seems even more arduous. But that has not stopped the Vatican Post Office, which has decided to include in its philatelic launches for 2024, precisely a stamp dedicated to that episode in the life of the founder of the Salesians, two hundred years after its occurrence.

(ANS – Madrid) – A very special event will take place in Madrid on 29 February and 1 March 2024  for those who feel and live the world of information from a Salesian perspective: the Spanish National Delegation for Communication is organising the tenth edition of a forum that, year after year, brings together more than a hundred participants to share, reflect and plan the Salesian journey in this strategic key area of the Congregation.
