Madrid, Spain - February 2018 - The Federation of Pinardi Salesian Social Platforms celebrated its IX Forum "Sharing to educate" on 9 February at the Salesian College of Carabanchel. The event was held with the aim of creating a special moment for the Federation and all the Social Platforms it comprises, offering a space for meeting and sharing experiences. The young people included in the programs of the various Pinardi Social Platforms were able to dialogue with the educators who helped them to pursue their dreams, bearing witness to the effort, constancy and trust in each one's ability.

Salmiya, Kuwait - February 2018 - On 15 February, Fr Godfrey D'Souza, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Mumbai (INB), and Fr Manuel Murzello, INB Provincial Economer, went on an official visit to the Salesian presence in Kuwait, INB-dependent. The delegation was welcomed by the center's director, Fr Derrick Misquitta, and several other Salesians. In the afternoon, Fr D'Souza gave a lecture to the members of the Salesian Cooperators, Past Pupils and Youth of the Don Bosco Oratory and presented the Rector Major's Strenna 2018: "Lord, give me this water. We cultivate the art of listening and accompanying."

Xuan Hiep, Vietnam - February 2018 - On 8 February, the 2018 Salesian Family Day was celebrated, attended by about a thousand representatives of the various SF groups present in Vietnam.

Cordoba, Argentina - February 2018 - Last February 13, with the Provincial Council meeting during which Fr Natale Vitali, Councilor for the America South Cone Region, delivered the Rector Major's letter, the Extraordinary Visit to the Province of Northern Argentina (ARN) concluded.

Cebu, Philippines - February 2018 - On January 31, on the occasion of the feast of Don Bosco, six young lay volunteer missionaries received the missionary cross in the chapel of the provincial house of Cebu, Province of the South Philippines (FIS). They are the first group destined to the mission at the Don Bosco Technical School in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Four of them left on February 13th.

Spain - February 2018 - From 5 to 9 February, the visit of Fr Stefano Martoglio, Councilor for the Mediterranean Region, took place in the name and mandate of the Rector Major to accompany the Salesians of the Salesian Province "María Auxiliadora" (SMX) in discernment for the electoral consultations for the next Provincial. The meetings were held in Sanlúcar la Mayor, Sevilla, Antequera, Alicante, Valencia and Barcelona. At El Campello, Fr Martoglio also had a meeting with the Provincial Council and then with the directors of the Salesian presences, with whom he had the opportunity to discuss the process of consultation. As per the Salesian Constitutions, the mechanism for the appointment of the new Provincial of the SMX Province now begins.
