Mirandela, Portugal - April 2018 - On 29 April, during the 25th edition of the National Salesian Games, the "Clip Don Bosco 2018" festival was held, a short film festival on the theme "Do not be afraid! I am with you." The group of young people from the Youth Center "Friends of Domenico Savio" and "Club Bosco" of Arouca won the first prize with the short film entitled "Reviravolta" and will represent Portugal at the next "Festiclip" in Lyon, France.

Mexico City, Mexico - May 2018 - On May 5, the annual pilgrimage of the Salesian Family took place at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, led by Fr Gabino Hernández Paleta, Superior of the Salesian Province of Mexico City (MEM). During the homily the Provincial recalled the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Mexico, which took place from 9 to 12 December 1531 in San Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin.

Mumbai, India - May 2018 – With the support of "Don Bosco Mondo" (Germany), the "Don Bosco Development Society" (DBDS) in Mumbai organized five summer camps from 13 April to 8 May with over two hundred children of Mumbai shantytowns attending.

Cap-Haïtien, Haiti - May 2018 - On May 6th at the "Vincent Foundation", the home of the Salesians in the North of Haiti, 15 parents of Salesians and Daughters of Mary Help of Christians attended the meeting of the Mamma Margherita Association. The Vice Province of Haiti created the association to establish a closer relationship between parents of Salesians and FMA and the Salesian Congregation.

Santa Clara, Cuba - May 2018 - On May 6, in the theater of the church of Our Lady of Carmen, the feast of Saint Dominic Savio was celebrated with artistic performances by teenagers and young people of the Salesian Youth Center "GeMa" for an audience of friends, family members and members of the parish community. The director of the center, Fr Eduardo Marroquín, SDB, urged everyone to follow the example of Saint Dominic Savio.

Thanjavur, India - April 2018 - Over 400 young scouts and guides gathered from 22nd to 24th April to take part in the "Mini-Boscoree", organized by the Tiruchy Provinces of the Salesians and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, on the theme "Scout and guides towards ecological citizenship."
