Shillong, India - September 2018 - From September 1 to October 6, at the "Matthias Institute Mawlai" of the Shillong Province (INS), the Continental Course of Missionary Formation takes place. From September 14 to 17, Fr Guillermo Basañes, General Councilor for the Missions, also took part.

Santa Cruz, Bolivia - September 2018 - 1500 young people from various Salesian houses in Santa Cruz participated in the event entitled "Jesus, the source of living water", organized by the "Project Don Bosco Santa Cruz".

Asunción, Paraguay - September 2018 - About 100 young people took part in the first formation workshop for Youth Ministry Agents, led by Fr. Francisco Miranda, Provincial Delegate for Paraguay Youth Ministry. Also present was Fr Mario Villalba, Provincial of Paraguay, who presided at Mass in the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians.

Kinshasa, Republic of the Congo - September 2018 - On September 24, the opening of the pre-novitiate of the ACC Vice-Province (Africa Congo Congo) was celebrated in the house "Our Lady of the Nativity" in Kinshasa (DRC). A group of eleven prenovices, with their formators, began the formative journey, with an act of entrustment to Mary Help of Christians.

Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Italy - September 2018 - On September 15 and 16, about 300 young people gathered at Colle Don Bosco to start a new year of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) of the Special Circumscription of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta ( ICP). Accompanied by animators, nuns and priests, young people lived the two days in the name of happiness, play and prayer. Drawing on the ranks of the many summer experiences lived together, from the camps to the pilgrimage to the Holy Land and to Rome, the Province's journey has begun once again. In this fashion, the year's theme - "I am a mission #perlavitadegltritri", that is for the lives of others - has assumed the colors of concreteness and the individual face of each participant. In collaborating and sharing together, everyone has given themselves to others, laying the foundations for achieving the mission par excellence: cultivating their dreams.

El Houssoun, Lebanon - September 2018 - Over 100 young people from Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Sudan and Lebanon are taking part in the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) Confronto Middle East 2018 event. Also present, a delegation of SYM Europe.
