Nguyen Thinh Phuoc, describes the reality in which Salesians live and work in the Region he leads, what it means to live in contact with other religions and what is the general situation of Christians.
(ANS - Rome) - March 15 marks the anniversary of the death of St. Artemide Zatti: it is the first anniversary of his birth to Heaven after celebrating his canonization last Oct. 9, 2022. The chronicle of the Salesian boarding school in Viedma recalls that, according to custom, on March 15, 1951, in the morning the bell announced the flight to Heaven of Salesian coadjutor Br. Artemide Zatti, and reports these prophetic words, "One less brother at home and one more saint in Heaven."
(ANS - Rome) - Today, the 11th of the month, we share an excerpt of the article "The Gospel of Creation," by Fr. Joshtrom Isaac Kureethadam SDB, Coordinator of the Ecology and Creation Sector at the Holy See's Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, written for Salesian Mission Day (SMD23), promoted by the Salesian Missions Sector. On this occasion, the author develops the theme of SMD - "CARE OF CREATION - Our Mission" - by delving into how the Gospel of Creation helps to rediscover Creation through the eyes of faith.
(ANS - Rome) - The publication of the series of articles conceived and written by Fr. Maciej Makuła, SDB, a member of the Social Communication Sector, which focus on the theme of Communication in the Salesian Family, continues. After the first contribution, "External and Internal Communication in the Salesian Family," in this second paper, the author aims to explore communication with journalists as an aid to information management.
(ANS) - The Youth Ministry Sector of the Salesian Congregation held three webinars on digital health on Feb. 16, 20, and 24. Animated by expert Guillermo Cánovas, they were attended by 300 people in each of the three appointments, representing all regions of the Congregation. Each session was made accessible in 5 languages.
(ANS - Rome) - Today, on the eve of the memory of the Salesian martyred saints Luigi Versiglia and Callisto Caravario, the Sector for Salesian Missions launches the Salesian Mission Day 2023 video "Care for Creation, Our Mission," in two versions: the first for adults, educators and Salesians, and a shorter "YOUNG EDITION" for young people.

India – INS youth solemnise Don Bosco’s Feast Day with ‘Ka Sur Kynud S-3’ Grand Finale(ANS – Shillong) – The Youth of St John Paul II, Shillong Province, celebrated the Feast Day of St. John Bosco with the Grand Finale of “Ka Sur Kynud, Season 3.” Organised by Don Bosco Media Network Television, the Social Communication Department of the Province, at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Laitumkhrah, Shillong, this two-month-long singing competition, which imitates the global singing competition The Voice, concluded on 31 January 2025, coinciding with the Solemnity of St John Bosco.
