Austria - Hundreds of people attend the Don Bosco Festival at the Salesianum in Vienna
Vienna, Austria - January 2025 - On 31 January, the liturgical feast of St John Bosco, the Don Bosco Festival event, organised by the Salesians of Don Bosco, the Don Bosco Mission Austria Mission Office and the Salesian Youth Movement, was held at the Salesianum in Vienna. For the occasion, more than 200 people gathered in the parish at Neuerdberg, where a festive service in honour of Don Bosco was celebrated. In a moving homily, the Superior of the Salesian Guardian Angels Province of Austria (AUS), Fr Siegfried M. Kettner, not only described Don Bosco's work, but also conveyed his spirituality, his deep faith and the zeal with which he brought God's message to earth. The choir of the recently founded Salesian Youth Movement accompanied the service in a very professional manner.
