Brazil - The Salesians of Amazonia welcome the perpetual religious profession of three young Salesians
Manaus, Brazil - January 2025 - In a solemn celebration held on 31 January, the Salesian Family of Manaus celebrated St John Bosco Day with the celebration of Mass at the Colégio Dom Bosco - Centre Unit. The event marked the Perpetual Religious Profession of three young men: Antônio Veiga Neto, from Manicoré; Emmanuel Jeremia, from Tanzania; and Walter Felipe, from Belém. The solemn celebration was presided over by the Superior of the Salesian Province of Manaus, Brazil (BMA), Fr Felipe Bauzière, in the presence of family members, various groups from the Salesian community and friends of the newly professed, who strengthened the spirit of unity and commitment to the mission of evangelising and educating young people. After the celebration, the schoolyard was the stage for a cultural show promoted and animated by the Salesian Youth Movement.
