(ANS - Rome) – Elledici has just released the book “Pastorale giovanile 2. Intorno al fuoco vivo del Sinodo. Educare ancora alla vita buona del Vangelo - Youth Ministry 2. Around the living fire of the Synod. Educating again to the good life of the Gospel”, by Fr Rossano Sala, SDB, former Special Secretary at the Synod on Youth. The text ideally places the reader around the fire generated by the synodal process in the universal Church and boasts the invitation to read none other than Pope Francis.

(ANS - Rome) - Among the groups of the Salesian Family, there are not many with their headquarters in Rome. Probably the last to find its general house in the "Eternal City" was the Caritas Sisters of Jesus Congregation. Since their foundation in Miyazaki (Kyushu Island, Japan) in 1937, until ten years ago, their headquarters was in Japan, while their current address is in Rome.
(ANS - Rome) - Fr Gabriel Romero was elected by the GC28 as the new Councilor for the America South Cone Region. Below is an interview with him, released to ANS.
(ANS - Rome) - The venerable Fr Giuseppe Quadrio (1921-1963), who died at the beginning of the Second Vatican Council, for which he had offered his life, was an excellent theologian and a mystic, declared venerable by Pope Benedict XVI on December 19, 2009. His vocational story is a pure and continuous "yes" to Jesus, from infancy until death, at the age of 42 after a long and painful illness. The 10-year-old boy had already made a vow of perpetual virginity to Our Lady: “The vow to be yours alone and of Jesus forever.”
