Corigliano Rossano, Italy - August 2020 - Yesterday, Thursday 13 August, a mural dedicated to Don Bosco was inaugurated in the municipality of Corigliano Rossano, in the presence of the bishop of Rossano Cariati, Msgr. Giuseppe Satriano, the councilor Donatella Novellis, and many inhabitants of the neighborhood. The mural initiative was born within a national project funded by the "Con i bambini" foundation and coordinated by Salesians for Social APS. The mural, by the artist Alfonso Caravetta, is a message of life and hope, which presents some local saints together with Don Bosco, meaning that holiness is close at hand. "Today's children receive from these figures of saints an example and an invitation to imitate them in the love they had for others and for the common good," commented Fr Natale Carandente, director of the Salesian house in Corigliano Rossano for the occasion.

Bra, Italy - July 2020 - The Youth Summer Camp experience at the Salesian oratory of Bra has been completed. Divided over six weeks, it dedicated the first two sessions to older high school students and the other four to students from Grade 4 to 8. Lived in a particular way, due to the coronavirus restrictions, it was however fully successful thanks to the availability and resourcefulness of the organizers and the numerous volunteers who got involved: some working directly with students, rigorously divided into groups of 10, others welcoming them at the entrance to ensure safety prescriptions, others cleaning, others the secretariat.

Fr Stefano Martoglio, SDBThe beginning of the new year is illuminated in our liturgy by the ancient formula with which the Israelite priests blessed the people: "May the Lord bless you, and keep you.
