Mexico City, Mexico - 1892 - Fr Angelo Piccono, Fr Raffaele Piperni, Fr Simone Visintainer, Salesian Coadjutor Brother Pietro Tagliaferri and cleric in formation Agostino Osella - the first missionaries sent to Mexico by Fr Michele Rua, the first Successor of Don Bosco - were received on December 2, 1892, by Mr. Ángel Lascuráin, President of the Catholic Circle. The Salesian missionaries went dressed as civilians as wearing a cassock was forbidden.

Seville, Spain - 1964 - On May 28, 1964, a statue of Don Bosco was carried in procession by the workers of the furniture factory in Seville. The image of the saint, coming from the furniture factory itself and appropriately decorated, accompanied the workers in the Corpus Domini procession.

Cuenca, Ecuador - 1970-1980 - An old photograph by Fr Carlo Crespi at the “Mary Help of Christians” Park, surrounded by his favorites: poor children, abandoned and in danger. Father Crespi was an apostle of the poor, a great educator, botanist, anthropologist, musician, a pioneer of cinema. Because of his virtues, the cause of his beatification is currently underway.
