Rome, Italy - June 3, 1929 - The boys of the "Don Bosco" oratory of Rome's Testaccio district are in audience of the Holy Father for the beatification of Don Bosco in St Peter's Square.

Oxford, England - 1961 - In 1959, a group of students from the "Salesian College" in Oxford, England, visited France and Spain to improve their language skills. Two years later, a group of 14 students and two professors - Mr. Barker and Fr Louis O'Dea, SDB, - left for Greece, crossing Germany, Austria and Yugoslavia, on board an ambulance converted into a bus.

Turin, Italy - 1851 - Photo taken from the window of Don Bosco's room. The first stone of the building was placed by the Saint of the Youth in 1851 and the church was inaugurated in 1852. It was the setting for important events and the great spiritual activity of Don Bosco.

Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Italy - 1957 - The "Biglione" house, where Giovanni Bosco was born in 1815. The house was demolished in 1957 to build the temple dedicated to the saint.
