Beppu, Japan - 1964 - Salesian Fr Albano Cecchetti, born in Adria in 1898, left as a missionary for Japan and dedicated his life to the young people of Japan. This is why the Beppu authorities wanted to celebrate his 33 years of educational activity in favor of the neediest young people.

Panama City, Panama - August 1950 - The President of the Republic of Panama, Arnulfo Arias, together with several members of the government, visits the works of the Basilica di Don Bosco, still under construction. To welcome the authorities was one of the inspirers of that great house, Fr Domenico Soldati.
