Turin, Italy - 1862 - This was the room used by Don Bosco from 1862 to 1888 and then by Fr Michele Rua, his First Successor. Fr Rua continued to sleep in that same room, albeit in a sofa bed, from 1888 until 6 April 1910, the day he passed away.

Asunción, Paraguay - The first Salesian students in Paraguay pose with an image of Msgr. Lasagna. Fr Giuseppe Gamba, Mons. Lasagna's successor, wanted to give the new Salesian presence the name of "Colegio Monseñor Lasagna" as a constant commemoration of the intrepid bishop. In 1894, Msgr. Lasagna wrote to the First Successor of Don Bosco, Fr Michele Rua: "Paraguay is the coveted land of many Salesian hearts".

Vatican City - March 1964 - The Salesian Community of the Vatican, responsible for the Vatican Press, presents the Pontifical Yearbook of 1964 to Holy Father Paul VI, in the presence of Msgr. Angelo Dell’Acqua and Msgr. Franco Norese.

Los Angeles, United States - 1964 - Youth meeting with the presence of 940 young people from the Salesian Schools of the United States to reflect on the theme "Vatican Council II and young leaders", with the participation of Fr Bernard Tohill, Provincial.
