DR Congo – The delivery of foodstuffs brings relief to displaced families in the Ngangi Camp
Goma DR Congo – June 2024 – The displaced families residing inside the Don Bosco camp, located at the Don Bosco Ngangi Youth Centre in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo, received basic foodstuffs such as rice, beans, flour and oil. This solidarity operation was coordinated by Fr Carlos K. Balezi, Fr Pascal Bauma and Salesian Brother Augustin Mupoyi. The initiative was also made possible thanks to the funding from Missioni Don Bosco, the Mission Office in Turin, and the excellent coordination of the Planning and Development Office of the AFC-EST Delegation. The food received will allow the families, one hundred in total, to have supplies for a month, which represents a concrete help to face their daily challenges caused by the war.
