Rango, Rwanda - May 24, 2017 - On the occasion of the Mass of Mary Help of Christians, the Educational-Pastoral Community of Rango's Don Bosco Vocational Training School, led by Don Raphaël Katanga, awarded diplomas to 83 young people who completed their professional studies.

San José, Costa Rica - May 13, 2017 – The Golf Tournament's 13th edition took place on May 13 for the CEDES Don Bosco scholarship program led by Don Luís Corral. The tournament for solidarity is an important source of support for the over 600 students of the Salesian Institute.

Sannerz, Germany - May 2017 - On May 28, in the parish of "Mariae Himmelfahrt" in Sannerz, Simon Haerting made Perpetual Profession as Salesian of Don Bosco. The solemn ceremony was presided by don Josef Grünner, Superior of the German Province.

Yaondé, Cameroon - May 2017 - On 31 May, Feast of the Tropical Equatorial Africa Vice-Province (ATE), the Salesians of Don Bosco met with Don Américo Chaquisse, Councilor for the Africa-Madagascar Region, to talk about the status of the ATE Vice-Province and to outline the new Superior's profile.

Legnano, Italy - June 2017 - The city of Legnano (Milan) dedicated its new multi-functional socio-sanitary residence to its citizen, the Servant of God Fr. Carlo Crespi (1891-1982), a Salesian missionary, scientist and a father of the poor. The dedication was decided by the municipal administration, by Father Carlo Crespi Onlus and Anteo Social Cooperative. The structure is state-of-the-art, multi-functional and of great social utility, and is designed to accommodate 40 people with disabilities. Archbishop Carlo Galli, President of the Crespi Association, emphasized how important it is to identify with the spirit that animated Don Crespi, especially in his charity toward the poor and needy. Attending the opening, Mayor Alberto Centinaio and various Councilors, the Dean Don Fabio Viscardi, Msgr. Angelo Cairati, City Provost, and the Postulator of the Causes of Beatification and Canonization of Salesians, Don Pierluigi Cameroni.
