Italy – New Health Center dedicated to the Servant of God Carlo Crespi

Legnano, Italy - June 2017 - The city of Legnano (Milan) dedicated its new multi-functional socio-sanitary residence to its citizen, the Servant of God Fr. Carlo Crespi (1891-1982), a Salesian missionary, scientist and a father of the poor. The dedication was decided by the municipal administration, by Father Carlo Crespi Onlus and Anteo Social Cooperative. The structure is state-of-the-art, multi-functional and of great social utility, and is designed to accommodate 40 people with disabilities. Archbishop Carlo Galli, President of the Crespi Association, emphasized how important it is to identify with the spirit that animated Don Crespi, especially in his charity toward the poor and needy. Attending the opening, Mayor Alberto Centinaio and various Councilors, the Dean Don Fabio Viscardi, Msgr. Angelo Cairati, City Provost, and the Postulator of the Causes of Beatification and Canonization of Salesians, Don Pierluigi Cameroni.
